FENS Forum 2024 Satellite Events are independent of the Forum organisation, both financially and in terms of organisation. The organisation and all costs incurred are under the full responsibility of the organisers of the Satellite Event. Satellite Events take place ahead or after the FENS Forum dates (25-29 June 2024).
Organisations, societies, associations, institutions, consortia and other interested groups are invited to organise their Satellite Events closely linked to the Forum Dates. Companies or industry interested in contributing to the FENS Forum 2024 programme, please refer to the FENS sponsorship prospectus.
Satellite Events can be advertised on the FENS Forum 2024 website by their title, dates, venue and website URL.

Satellite Events must be associated topically and geographically with the FENS Forum 2024, but the content of these events should not conflict with the core scientific programme of the Forum.
The organisation and all costs incurred are under the full responsibility of the organisers of the Satellite Event.
Satellite Events are subject to the approval of the FENS Programme Committee chair and will only be announced on the Forum website when all conditions have been met.
FENS Committees organising Satellite Events should limit the number of committee members included in the programme to maximum 2 people. Ideally, committee members should be involved only as introducers or moderators, rather than speakers.
Proposals should be submitted via the online submission form with the following information:
- Name of the organisation, institute, company or group
- Details of contact person (name, email, institutional address and phone)
- Title of the Satellite Event for the announcement
- Date
- Location
- Brief description and purpose (topics, purpose, format, timing)
- Full programme
An application without an established scientific programme will not be considered.
The evaluation and approval of the proposed Satellite Event by the Programme Committee chair will be based on the information provided in the application file.
Satellite Event dates must be closely linked to those of the Forum, but must not overlap.
Satellite Events should be held at locations that can be easily reached from the venue of the Forum, and need to take place in either Austria or Hungary.
Satellite Events must be associated topically and geographically with the FENS Forum 2024, but the content of these events should not conflict with the core scientific programme of the Forum.
The organisation and costs incurred related to Satellite Events are under the full responsibility of the organisers.
FENS Forum 2024 Satellite Events will be announced on the Forum website by FENS only after approval by the chair of the Programme Committee.
Satellite Event organisers agree to advertise the FENS Forum on the Satellite Event website, including the FENS logo and the link to the FENS Forum website.
