Dress Code

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Forum functions and programmes.

Electricity

Austria uses the 230 Volt/50 Hz system and two-pin continental plugs – the same as most other European countries. Electric appliances use continental-style two-pin plugs.

If you visit from the UK, Ireland, Israel, Australia or Switzerland, you need to bring a plug adaptor. C and F type plugs generally fit on Austrian electricity sockets.

The USA, Canada and a large part of South America have the different 110-127 Volt system, which means many devices from there can only be connected using a transformer.

Guest Attendance Policy

All event activities are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced. Childcare services will be provided depending on sufficient demand.

Language

The official language of the congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Letter of Invitation

Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation can request one from the Forum Registration Team. To receive a Letter of Invitation, participants must first register to the Forum and submit payment in full.

The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate neither the organiser nor the host in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the Forum are the sole responsibility of the participant.

The FENS Forum Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or indirectly arising from the FENS Forum 2024. Printshop

A Printshop for posters pickup will be available at the venue from June 25-28, open daily, Tuesday – Friday from 9:00-17:00.

You can pre order your poster prints in advance and conveniently pick them up onsite during the opening hours.

Due to the high volume of posters at the Forum, we recommend to send your poster at least 5 working days before arrival to messe@printshop.at  and make sure you receive a confirmation for your order.

Please be aware that poster prints cannot be produced directly on-site (delivery of orders to the printshop takes between 24-48 hours) so pre ordering is highly recommended.

You can have a look at the price list here.

Smoking is prohibited at all times in the meeting halls, exhibit halls and restrooms. Your compliance is appreciated.
